barn find 1975 Triumph Trident T160 this bike has been off the road
since the early 90's. We imported it and bought it back to life. It has
done only a genuine 7000 miles since new. It's matching numbers and is
in extremely original condition still running on points ignition. It's
electric start and this is working fine. Triumph T160's are getting
harder to find these days especially in such original condition.
We've
done a bit of work to bring it back to life including a brand new
wiring harness, ignition barrel, tyres plus much more. The brakes were
seized from sitting around so these were overhauled and parts replaced
where necessary. The starter motor was stripped and cleaned out and is working fine.
Work done: - New Amal Premier carbs - Freshly painted tank and side covers - New wiring harness - Replaced ignition barrel - New Dunlop TT100 tyres - Overhauled front and rear brakes with new lines. - New fuel taps and hose - Oils changed and filter replaced - Starter motor overhauled - Oil cooler flushed - LP Williams Anti-Drain valve installed - New final drive chain - Refurbished seat - Oil pressure gauge installed - New Dunstall style silencers
