The Triton project is officially underway! Starting with the base of a 1966 Norton Atlas, which doesn't have matching numbers, I've stripped it down to a bare rolling frame. This bike has a rugged history as a dirt racer, evident from its worn-out appearance. However, since the engine and gearbox aren't part of this project, they'll receive attention later on.

Despite its past adventures, the frame looks pretty solid, which is a relief. Being a 1966 Atlas, it features the iconic Slimline frame design that adds to its vintage charm. Of course, being a former dirt tracker, there are signs of previous modifications and repairs, but that's all part of its character.

The next step involves removing the front end and rear components to focus solely on the frame. Once that's done, it's time to dive into thorough cleaning and prep work before moving on to the painting stage.

I'll be documenting every twist and turn of this project, so be sure to check back for updates on how this Triton takes shape!
